My boyfriend and I stayed at Solo Villas for 3 nights after touring around Bali and Gili. We received a pre-arrival notification email with all the details to make our arrival easier. From that very first email, we could see that the staff are so sweet and caring for their guests. The villa is luxurious yet cozy, with every piece of furniture and Bali room decor adding a homey feel. Everything is new and spotless, including the pretty and practical bathroom. The location is special, surrounded by beautiful rice fields, and surprisingly, we didn't get a single mosquito bite here. The breakfast, cooked by the local chef, is plentiful and delicious. We also tried the spa service, which provided the best Bali massage we've ever had. We wish much success to this little gem villa and strongly recommend it.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The views of the surrounding rice fields were breathtaking and made for a peaceful and serene atmosphere. the room was clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the staff were friendly and accommodating, always willing to assist with arranging activities and transportation.
There were a few drawbacks to our stay. the location was not as close to the main attractions as advertised, requiring a longer walk or scooter ride to reach the center.

The setting was absolutely stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and tranquility. The staff went above and beyond to make my Christmas stay special, ensuring that the room was well decorated with festive touches. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices to cater to all tastes. the location was ideal, with easy access to both shopping and dining options nearby.
One drawback was the lack of transportation options to and from the property. The only way to reach the hotel was by motorbike or a 20-25 minute walk, which could be challenging for guests with physical impairments.

We had a fabulous stay at this retreat. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with a 24/7 shuttle service and making sure all our needs were met. The location was amazing, surrounded by beautiful rice fields and offering stunning views. The room was gorgeous, with a spacious bathroom and comfortable living quarters. We loved starting our day with a delicious breakfast prepared by the staff.
Although our overall experience was great, there was a minor issue with the cleanliness of our room. The cleaning staff forgot to refill all the shampoo and hand soap bottles.

Absolutely Perfect - Close to everything and yet secluded. the villas are surrounded by beautiful rice fields, providing a tranquil setting. the staff are friendly, enthusiastic, and flexible. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure your stay is enjoyable.
Limited breakfast selection - the variety of the breakfast could have been better. It would have been nice to have more options to choose from.

The location of the hotel is perfect, tucked away in the heart of nature with stunning views of rice fields. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished, with creative decor and a cozy atmosphere. The bathrooms are both pretty and practical, equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The breakfast is always freshly prepared and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Additionally, the staff is extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a warm smile.
The facility lacks proper planning, with open slats on the room doors that need to be taped shut to prevent mosquitoes.

I couldn't be happier with the value for money at Solo Villas & Retreat. The room was not only spacious and beautifully designed, but the bathroom was a highlight with its natural light and smart bath tube. The location amidst the rice fields was quiet and peaceful, offering a truly authentic experience. The staff went above and beyond, providing a phone for easy communication and even giving scooter rides to the city when needed. The large and serene swimming pool was a fantastic bonus.
The breakfast selection could use some improvement, perhaps adding more variety or unique dishes.

I recently stayed at a villa in Ubud and had an amazing time. The staff at the villa were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. They even cleaned my room every day, which was a nice touch. The value for the price I paid was excellent, I felt like I got more than what I paid for.
